People say it has never been detected however you can get banned from manual inspection, so don't be blatant and you will be good to go

Yes you can. The cheat itself is undetected. The only thing that can happen is if you get reported enough to get an manual inspection. Then you will be banned if the admin thinks that you're cheating.
